The following pages will reflect my journey with Z.E.N. Foods
I purchased a 7 day weight loss plan at a huge discount from a 1 day internet deal.
I told the representative at Z.E.N. that I didn’t want red meat, bleu cheese or eggplant in any of the meals. He said I should lose 5 pounds this week. Let’s see how this all works out…
My One Week Journey with Z.E.N. foods

I received my food the night before in ice packs. I put everything in the
refrigerator ready for the next day. I could really get used to this!

BREAKFAST
Scrambled Eggs & Turkey Bacon Breakfast Burrito
(This is, so far, my favorite breakfast! Yes, this is on a salad plate, but, very filling and satisfying.)
Day #4 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition)
![Page 4: Day 4 with Z.E.N. - Linda's Journey](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042900/568bf4521a28ab89339d94f8/html5/thumbnails/4.jpg)
LUNCH
Thai Chicken Salad
(Again with the blurry photo? LinDUH!! I turned 50 this year and my eye sight is going fast! Chicken, mangoes (I think), cucumber, thai noodles, carrots, tasty thai seasoning – I’m in heaven!)
Day #4 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition)

SNACK
Edamame and Tangerines
( I wasn’t really hungry in the afternoon after the tasty salad for lunch. But, I knew I was going to need my energy before the evening’s dance class! It sure was nice not to have to suck the edamame out of the skin or
peel the tangerine – call me lazy! No fuss, no mess.)

DINNER
Almond and Lemon Crusted Orange Roughy with Butternut Squash Pilaf and Green Beans
(Talk about melting in your mouth. This was actually better than a chocolate bar!)

DESSERT
Peaches and Crème Trifle
(This completely hit the spot after my evening dance class at 24 Hour Fitness. I kind of felt like I was cheating it was so good!)

I am a Realtor in Altadena / Pasadena, California. As my schedule constantly changes on a daily basis, it’s difficult to shop and plan meals. I decided to give Z.E.N. a try to see if I could be more focused mentally and feed my body something nutritious for a change while on the go meeting with clients and fitting in dance classes at the gym.
