Tottenham Hotspur was formed in1882, as Hotspur F.C. and played inthe Southern League until 1908when it was elected to the FootballLeague. Spurs are the only non-league club to have won the English(F.A.) Cup, having won it in 1901.The club first played their homegames on Tottenham Marshesbefore moving to NorthumberlandPark in 1888, before moving, in1899, 100 yards down the road totheir present ground, White HartLane.
