We know one of the first ticks on the checklist is of course; the Date, then time to
book the Venue; and we feel the most important after that is Food!
We have teamed up with The Hatchery, to put together a few different menu option
ideas for your special day.
Blue Strawberry has been a leader in our industry for a mere “Pearl Anniversary”,
30 Years! Giving us vast experience, watching the magnificent changes in the
industry and curving these changes to become our own.
We pride ourselves on the utmost Quality & Reliability for your special day.

To get you started on your Food Journey, I have set some menu ideas below.
Ranging from different Canapés during Photo’s, moving to Starters, Mains &
Desserts for the reception.
Although we do have our own menu styles & options, this is just a little bit of what we
find is the most popular for fellow couples. We encourage Bridal couples to let us
know what their thoughts and ideas are for their day, so we can do our best to
provide you with exactly what you are looking for.

A Little T’s & C’s. We love as much lead-time as possible for your special day. We work on 7 working days final guest number. 50% deposit to secure your day. Delivery is charged at R6,50 per km to and from the
venue. Some may require 2 or 3 Trips. Please ensure all procedure times are sent ahead of time. Any overtime spent on the day, without prior knowledge, will be charged accordingly. In the event of cancellation,
you must make all cancellations in writing to us and receipt of the cancellation from us, to you. If any cancellations are made less than 5 working days before the day, a cancellation fee will incur, as we may have
secured the date & produce just for you. All Prices exclude vat.
Great to serve after the Ceremony, while photos are being taken If you prefer Canapés after the Ceremony, with No Starter before the Main Meal, we
suggest you cater for a little more Items per person, to accommodate the guests

Hiring Requirements
Many venues, may have these extras included, however where these do not, we are happy to assist with any hire requirements you may need.
Your requirements may differ depending on the menu chosen, once we have your menu idea, we can advise which is best suited.
If you require any wedding décor, table settings assistance, we do recommend using
professionals to walk you through this journey with you, for this special day, I am sure The Hatchery has some suppliers closest in mind.
Service Staff
We suggest our own waiters, to ensure you have the very best service on your
special day. The number of staff is dependent on your guest numbers, as well as
menu selection.
We suggest one waiter per 10 guests for a served meal, and one waiter per 20
guests for a self-service meal.
If you require drink service waiters, we suggest one drink service waiter & food
waiter per table.
Waiters – R110,00 per hour (min 5 Hour shift)
Staff Transport fee to & from venue of R4,50 per km (max. 5 Waiters per vehicle, over, will require 2 vehicles)
Bar Service
For all your refreshment requirements, we highly recommend Cocktails & Caviar, They can assist with Bar infrastructure, a range of refreshments, Cocktail Bars, Gin
Bars, Whiskey Tastings, etc. Or just the staffing required to assist on your special day.
Barmen - R110,00 per hour (min 5 Hour shift)
Cocktail Barmen - R125,00 per hour(min 5 Hour shift)
