processes to begin working on your dissertation from day one.

• While you will participate in seminars and peer review activities, there are no required group activities in the courses

• Year 1 – One mentor for entire cohort• Year 2 – As dissertation becomes more defined,

students will interact with potential dissertation mentor faculty while still participating in the cohort-based mentoring track.

• Year 3 – Individual dissertation mentors, while still required to participate in cohort-based mentoring track.

• While it may vary, the coursework and mentor track are designed to be completed in the 20-25 hour per week timeframe.

• The DBA requires work throughout the week, not just on weekends. Be sure to block your time appropriately.

• Unlike master’s-level work, a great deal of independent reading will be required.
