Thank you for taking the time on Friday 18th to discuss the Wylfa Newydd project and the DCO.

Following Hitachi's announcement on the 17th January 2019 to suspend its nuclear powerstation project in the UK ("Horizon Project") the company will be moving towards a suspendedstate organisation by the end of March 2019. Whilst reducing our presence Hitachi will keep theoption to resume development at some point in the future.

With respect to the Development Consent Order (DCO) currently in progress Horizon willcontinue with the ongoing programme whilst it seeks opinion from Stakeholders and otherinterested parties on the best way forward. This will take place over the next few weeks.
