Dealing with cross sectional Data

Start Eviews from Start Menu or select Eviews from all programs. Press Ctrl + N to create a new file. A dialog box will appear:-

Select Unstructured/Undated as a type of workfile structure to deal with cross-sectional data.

Dealing with Time Series Data

Start Eviews from Start Menu or select Eviews from all programs. Press Ctrl + N to create a new file. A dialog box will appear:-

Select Dated-regular frequency as a type of workfile structure and choose the relevant frequency from the available options.

Dealing with Panel Data

Start Eviews from Start Menu or select Eviews from all programs. Press Ctrl + N to create a new file. A dialog box will appear:-

Select Balanced Panel as a type of workfile structure and choose the frequency of data and number of cross sections. Note: Cross sectional details deal with firms/countries/firms
