We know that when He [Jesus] appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

31Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you

32but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when

once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”
