Stream wise deaneries in Christ University coordinate all the activities from designing of curriculum to result analysis. Through a technology enabledeffective networking the deaneries constantly innovate methods for knowledge dissemination and knowledge generation. Having the largest number of

disciplines, students and teachers in the broader areas of Humanities and Social Sciences, our deanery is engaged in an ongoing dialogue on polity,

economy, society and culture and specifically the fields of Psychology, Media and Communication studies and Sociology.

It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for both years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise incosts.

1. NRI fee is applicable for the first year for candidates who have studied Foreign Syllabus for the qualifying examination ofstudy in India. (The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).

2. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the programme for candidates who;

2.1. Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from Outside India.2.2. Are NRI and Candidates who have applied under NRI Category.

3. All Candidates IfSelected after appearing for the final selection process, The fee may be paid through the followingoptions:

a) DD drawn in favor ofChrist University payable at Bangaloreb) Cash at the South Indian Bank, Christ University Branch, Bangalorec) Pay via bank transfer to South Indian Bank, Christ University Branch

Admission Process

Candidates will be intimated about the Selection status (Selected/Wait Listed/Not Selected) through the University NoticBoard/on the ApplicationStatus link on University website. The Selection results will be declared within 24 hours of PersonaInterview session.

The selected candidates must process admission at Office of Admissions, Central Block, Christ University within 3 working days odeclaration of Selection results/as per the stipulated date and time mentioned by Office of Admissions.

Selected candidates should collect the Fee Challan from the Office of Admissions and remit the Annual fee at the South IndiaBank, Christ University Branch. The Offer of Admission will stand cancelled, if failing to remit the fee within the stipulated datand time.

The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID card as well as a South Indian Bank ATM card with a chip containinthe student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after commencement of classes, including fee

payment will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places. Candidate

are advised to collect the South Indian Bank account opening form along with fees challan and process it at the Bank brancithin the University premises.

Candidates who fall under International student category (ISC), If selected, should register with the Foreigner Regiona

Registration Officer (FRRO/FRO) of the Local Police in Bangalore, India within 14 working days from the date of admission oarriving in Bangalore.

All International student category (ISC) candidates if studied in India should obtain an NOC from the previous qualifyininstitution.

The date of commencement of the academic Year 2012 - 2013 is June 13, 2012.
