Dear Beading Friends,

Happy Finter! I can’t believe we are in the last season of 2017. This will conclude our 29th year in business. We are still looking for

a buyer to add their special touch to Creative Castle. So if you can help me spread the word, I would appreciate it.

This season we have several returning teachers and many trunk shows and other events for you. We are offering 4 special beading days in addition to our regular BATC on the second Tuesday of each month. Be sure to check out our Events page on our website as well as the calendar page on the last page of this newsletter.

We will be having a Labor Day Clearance sale September 1-10. There will be continuing markdowns as the sale continues so shop early for the best selection and often for great savings.

We are raising money for MANNA again this year. MANNA, our local food bank, helps families throughout the Conejo Valley. Our MANNA Fund Raiser will be November 7-12. Come Donate, Shop and Save. A $5 donation gets you a 10% discount on your shopping trip, for a $10 donation you will receive a $20% discount, a $25 donation earns a 30% discount and for a $40 donation you will receive 40% off your purchase. I hope you will support this charity. Last year we collected over $1,400 in donations and gave away over $6000 in discounts. I hope we can do this again this year. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Please let us know if there is any beading need you have; we would like the opportunity to help. It is our goal to provide you with not only wonderful merchandise but also a fabulous environment in which to discover it as well as an extraordinary shopping experience.

Happy beading,

Make this lariat style necklace suspended with a square knot. The components are made with my newest technique called Pinch-in-the-Ditch which increases the structure of a piece and creates a 45 degree angle off existing bead work.

This piece is the result of playing around with bezeling a large crystal pearl. Learn to make the beaded circles and connect them to the layered and crystal embellished pearl bezels you also create. You can adjust the length of this necklace by adding additional beaded circle for a custom fit.
