Dear Friend of Saint Ambrose BINGO:Almost every week someone is celebrating a birthday at our Friday night Bingo game. It’s wonderful to see (and often share) in the cake, cookies and candy brought by Bingo friends to celebrate special days. Every time I see and share in these celebrations, in that moment, I am aware over and again that on Friday night we gather as family and friends – for a night of friendship and fun. While we play BINGO…it’s so much more than just a game. It’s a time for us to come together to enjoy each other’s company, to share the stories from the week gone by, and to celebrate life and goodness.

You are part of our family and, hopefully, we are part of yours. Thank you for joining us at Saint Ambrose. We are blessed by your life, goodness and support.

As always, we want our Friday night Bingo game to be a good experience for you and your friends. Please never hesitate to let me (or any of our captains) know your suggestions and recommendations to make your experience at Saint Ambrose Bingo more fun and positive. player was so overcome by his prospective win that he shouted

‘bingo’ instead of ‘beano.’

Meet David Hoover You may have noticed a new face at Saint Ambrose Bingo these past few months. In case you haven’t gotten a chance to say “hi” to David Hoover yet, please do so—he’d love to meet you!

David joins our Administrative Team, helping to facilitate the evening from the backend. As a proud member of parish staff, David is in charge of the marketing and communications here at Saint Ambrose. With his BFA in Drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and MA in Communications Management from John Carroll University, he is enthusiastic to share his gifts with our community. If you have an idea on ways we can promote Bingo, make sure to let David know!

Outside of work, David enjoys playing in his band, going to movies, taking walks in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, watching baseball, travelling all over the country to see Bruce Springsteen, and reading (especially anything Marvel and Star Wars). David lives with his wife, Lisa, and their two cats, Roxy and Emmy, in Berea.
