Heat stress, enhanced disease risk and aggravated pollution will directly affect the health of Canadians

Other adverse impacts include - Reduced lake levels - Increased risk of forest fire - Disruptive changes in ecosystem boundaries

Climate change will also provide benefits- Lower winter heating costs, - Longer growing season and - Improved marine transport in ice covered waters
