This is an amazing opportunity provided by AIESEC Indonesia,

especially senior members and alumni like me, thus I really appreciate the

effort given for the initiative. I still have a strong passion into youth

development and I found this opportunity match me well either with my

expertise and schedule since I currently working on my thesis, I need this

short term experience.

Being 4 years in AIESEC especially in exchange department, gained me

so much knowledge and wisdom about exchange things and I am proudly

saying that I have this big passion in exchange department and I widely

known for my expertise in ICX GCDP. Nevertheless, I always see world in a

half-full bottle, I like to learn new things and cross my limitation to reach what

I envision in life. The way I’m living is to take myself out of comfort zone to

learn something new and am never afraid of challenges, problems, conflicts,

etc. Because those are the things that can shape me a better person in the

future. In my point of view, I matched the character of a ceeder should be,

never afraid of challenge, flexible and most importantly has passion in

exchange.

In life, I want to bring goodness and inspire others. Thus, ceedership

opportunity is a perfect opportunity where my passion, life envision, character

development and time availability meet at the same time

The traditional food of Japan is based on rice with miso soup and other dishes, with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. The side dishes often consist of fish, pickled vegetables, and vegetables cooked in broth. Fish is common in the traditional cuisine. It is often grilled, but it may also be served raw as sashimi or in sushi. Seafood and vegetables are also deep-fried in a light batter as tempura.

Japanese culture has been greatly impacted by the rest of the world throughout history. One of the most noticeable

changes has been Japanese clothing. There are typically two types of clothing that the

Japanese wear: Western clothing (洋服 yōfuku?) and the Japanese clothing (和服

wafuku?), such as kimonos.

While the traditional ethnic garments of Japan are still in use, they are mainly worn for ceremonies and special events, funerals,

coming-of-age ceremonies (seijin shiki), and festivals. In more recent years, western clothing is worn often in day-to-day life. While the westernization of fashions has

continued at a rapid pace, the kimono still lives on within the Japanese culture.

Japanese festivals are traditional festive occasions. Some festivals have their roots in Chinese festivals centuries ago, but have undergone great changes as they mixed with local customs. Some are so different that they do not even remotely resemble the original festival despite sharing the same name and date. There are also various local festivals (e.g. Tobata Gion) that are mostly unknown outside a given prefecture. It is commonly said that you will always find a festival somewhere in Japan.

Traditionally, sumo is considered Japan's national sport.[218] Japanese martial arts

such as judo, karate and kendo are also widely practiced and enjoyed by spectators

in the country. After the Meiji Restoration, many Western sports were

introduced in Japan and began to spread through the education system. Baseball is

currently the most popular spectator sport in the country. Japan's top professional

league, now known as Nippon Professional Baseball, was established in

1936.

An onsen (温泉?) is a term for hot springs in the Japanese language. As a volcanically active country, Japan has thousands of onsen scattered along its length and breadth. Onsen were traditionally used as public bathing places and today play a central role in directing Japanese domestic tourism.

Manga (漫画 Manga) are comics created in Japan, or by creators in the Japanese language, conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century. They have a long and complex pre-history in earlier Japanese art.

Housing in Japan includes modern and traditional styles. Two patterns of residences are predominant in contemporary Japan: the

single-family detached house and the multiple-unit building, either owned by an individual or corporation and rented as apartments to

tenants, or owned by occupants. Additional kinds of housing, especially for unmarried people, include boarding houses (which are

popular among college students), dormitories (common in companies), and barracks (for members of the Self-Defense Forces,

police and some other public employees).

An unusual feature of Japanese housing is that houses are presumed to have a limited lifespan, and are generally torn down and rebuilt

after a few decades, generally twenty years for wooden buildings and thirty years for concrete buildings

The music of Japan includes a wide array of performers in distinct styles both traditional and modern. The word for music in Japanese is 音楽 (ongaku), combining the kanji 音 "on" (sound) with the kanji 楽 "gaku" (enjoy). Japan is the largest physical music market in the world, with US$2 billion in 2014 and the second largest overall music market, with a total retail value of 2.6 billion dollars in 2014 – dominated by Japanese artists, with 37 of the top 50 best selling albums and 49 of the top 50 best selling singles in 2014.

In Japan, people of all ages read manga. The medium includes works in a broad range of genres: action-adventure, business/commerce, comedy, detective, historical drama, horror, mystery, romance, science fiction and fantasy, sexuality, sports and games, and suspense, audience.

Not only just a database, there should be a portfolio, where the EPs attach the proof of their abilities. For example EP with IT background, they have to attach the proof of their IT ability for example a softcopy of their program that they have ever created during college life, such things. So when we visit the TN, it will be a tangible proof for them to see our EP Quality, better than just a CV.

Collaborating with AIESEC Japan to create the interview simulation and tips based on the condition in Japan. Preferably doing it with the BoA of host entity or the representative from the TN. So, the next EP will have idea how to prepare if they want to take the internship in Japan..

Together with host LC, creating a gathering event with the TN and also AIESECer, it will be urgently and importantly done if the LC has low engagement with the TN. The purpose beside of engagement it can be an effective way for me to promote to them for re-raising.

The following points are activities to support the KPIs and MoS given and the basic activities explained on the booklet. These activities are based on on following considerations: BIGGER (More opportunities for our EP), BETTER (Increasing Quality) and STRONGER (Be reliable partner for stronger partnership between Indonesia-Japan).

Page 21: Deassy rizky ogip ceedership booklet

Analying evaluation from former Eps from Indonesia and TN and communicate the problems to the AIESECers and TN representative. If there is no evaluation, this is the most important thing that I will urge to the LC to do.

Creating complete database market research based on the TN visit and try the possibility to implement our GCP, which is Sales Force Team.

When “One picture speaks 1000 words”, One video can speak unlimited words. So it is a good media to promote Japan. Not only the journey in Japan, but also the environment in the TN and warm welcome from the Japanese AIESECers.
