Raleigh, NC - Nov. 27, 2012Celebrating its sixth year, Triangle Spokes Group will be giving away 500 brand-new bikes and helmets to children in the Triangle area this December, mak-ing a total of 2550 bikes distributed since its inception. Triangle Spokes Group is a 100% efficient 501(c)3-registered nonprofit organization. Every penny of donations goes towards purchasing bikes and helmets; founding members personally cover all administrative fees and overhead costs. Each bike and hel-met set costs $70 and fundraising efforts continue throughout the year. We hope to continue increasing the number of bikes gifted to children in our communi-ty each year and we need your support to make that happen! Gifts are completely tax-deductible and amounts of $10, $20 or $50 add up quickly!

Bikes are ordered in August and delivered and assembled in December, then distrib-uted in conjunction with the Salvation Army of Wake County’s Christmas Cheer program. This year over 3,900 families and 8,582 children are registered with the Sal-vation Army and the number climbs each year.
