There were mes when their faith was sorely tried. With several hundred orphans to feed there would be evenings when the cooks would tell him, “There is no food in the house for breakfast.” Before rering for the night, he would get down on his knees and lay these needs before his Heavenly Father. And always before the me came for the children to eat, the food was on the table. Many mes the same thing would happen in regards to funds to operate, but God would always provide. From the BBA Prayer Ministry Team Leader

George Mueller of Bristol, England along with his wife was led of the Lord to build an orphans’ home. They built the home depending upon God. They decided to ask no human being for money, property, clothing, or food. All needs were laid before God only. They wanted to prove that God was a prayer-hearing and a prayer-answering God. There were times when their faith was sorely tried. With several hundred orphans to feed there would be evenings when the cooks would tell him, “There is no food in the house for breakfast.” Before retiring for the night, he would get down on his knees and lay these needs before his Heavenly Father. And always before the time came for the children to eat, the food was on the table. Many times the same thing would happen in regards to funds to operate, but God would always provide. God has not changed, He wants to hear from you. He cares about your needs. May we trust Him as George Mueller and his wife did so many years ago. Trust and obey for there is no other way. As I staggered out the door clutching the last shoebox-filled tub, I prayed the rain would hold off long enough to drive to the BBA. The Lord answered and all 230 boxes arrived safe and dry, even though one box flew out as I drove along on one trip and I had to drive back for it. This task couldn’t have been accomplished without much help. I’m certain I will fail to mention someone, but I hope not.

THANK YOU: All who brought empty shoe boxes; to the quilting club whose members sewed many things for kids and helped pack the boxes; to those who gave sewing materials; to the man who knitted 230 toboggans; to the folks who gave items to help fill the boxes; to the woman who sewed doll blankets; to the church who bought, packed, and delivered 230 bags of candy; to the ones who donated money to help pay shipping expenses; and lastly to folks at the BBA office who unloaded the boxes once I got them there. And THANK YOU if I failed to mention your help! Please pray that many children will hear, read, and study the Gospel and the Holy Spirit will lead them and their families to be saved. Thanks, Dolores White Kiser

Greetings from LTBRM! We have had a busy few weeks at LTBRM! With many church groups booking the cabins, we have had a chance to share our love of this

ministry with so many. We are so thankful to be a part of a ministry that works year-round. We hope to see a lot of you during the cold months, whether it is for retreats, reunions, or meetings! Due to flooding this past summer, we have a lot of felled trees on the grounds. We want to use this as an opportunity to reach out. If you or someone you know needs firewood for the winter, please contact us! We would love to serve you in this manner. As we wind down the year, we would like to say thank you to those who have supported us as we got started in this ministry. We are so grateful for all God has done at LTBRM and are blessed to be a part of this growing ministry. We ask that as we move into the new year, you would continue to pray for us--pray that LTBRM would see growth, that we

are effective in reaching the people of the lake

community, and that above all, God would be glorified in our work here.
