NTDA announces exciting plans for 2016 Tyre Industry Awards and 87th Annual DinnerFollowing the huge success of the 2015 NTDA Tyre Industry Conference and the 86th Annual Dinner and Tyre Industry Awards, the NTDA Executive Council has now approved the preliminary plans for 2016 and the NTDA is delighted to announce that the 2nd NTDA Tyre Industry Conference, 87th Annual Dinner and 3rd Tyre Industry Awards will be held on the Thursday 6th October 2016 at the brand new venue The Vox.

The Vox is an integral part of the new £150 million Resort World complex, which also houses a designer outlet shopping centre, Genting Hotel, Genting Casino, bars, restaurants, leisure complex, multi-screen cinema and more. It brings together a state of the art conference and banqueting centre, in an unparalleled location adjacent to the NEC, supported by the vast expertise of the event management team who worked with the NTDA on this year’s event at the ICC Birmingham.

NTDA Director, Stefan Hay said: “This is a fantastic new venue, which is already generating a buzz with our members and the tyre industry in general. Having only announced the venue and date to the Executive Council members and those present at the Tyre Wholesaler Group’s AGM last week, we were surprised to receive close to a hundred advanced bookings for the dinner and several for the conference. We have also had confirmation of award sponsorships from Pirelli Tyres and Singex, the organisers of the TyreExpo events, and several more companies are talking to us about opportunities”.

2016 also sees changes to the Tyre Wholesaler’s (TWG) Annual Lunch, which will take place on Wednesday 5th October, the day before the Tyre Industry Conference, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

Companies interested in sponsorship opportunities for the conference, dinner, awards and TWG lunch should contact Stefan Hay via: [email protected] and for conference and annual dinner bookings Alison Fitzgerald via:[email protected]
