16 Days of Activism — November 25 to December 10

Each year the national ECW participates in the 16 days of Activism - a program of addressing domestic violence across the world. Each day there will be a prayer/brief meditation/poem regarding the theme, "From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World: Make Education Safe for All". There will also be a piece of artwork on the screen and each day will be connected to a saint. By going to the ECW website you can sign in to receive the information for each of those days. The previous years are also on the website under the So-cial Justice tab for you to use if you wish. The website: nationalECW.org.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 212 W. Lessons & Carols Historic Nashotah House Seminary

"Practicing Simplicity through Advent"

Members of the diocese and community are invited to "Practicing Simplicity through Advent" on Satur-day, December 3rd (9am - 12:15pm) at St. Mark's Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 2618 N. Hackett Ave-nue, Milwaukee 53211. A morning of practicing simplicity through medita-tion, journaling, and reflection led by The Rev. Scott Stoner of Living Compass and The Rev. Ian Burch, rector of St. Mark's. Everyone is welcome. All who attend will be provided with a copy of Practicing Sim-plicity with All Your Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind and a moleskin journal. Festival of Lessons & Carols Trinity, Janesville December 18 — 7pm

Trinity Episcopal Church is pleased to once again invite mem-bers of the diocese and wider community to their traditional Fes-tival of Nine Lessons & Carols Service. The Choir will be ac-companied by organ, piano, drum, and string quartet. The ser-vice involves Scripture Readings, carols sung by the congrega-tion, and anthems sung by the choir.
