Almost all of our mittens have made their way back
to us with amazing gifts. A huge THANK YOU to all
of you Giving Tree GIVERS! Your generosity truly
represents the magic of Christmas! Our families are
so grateful for all of your kindness and care during
the holidays!
No PALS meeting in December. They wish everyone the happiest of holidays!
The Port Washington-Saukville School District is looking for Substitute Paraprofessionals. If you are interested, please click on the link below: https://wi02215565.schoolwires.net/cms/lib/WI02215565/Centricity/Domain/18/Website%20-%20Substitute%20Paraprofessionals%20111418.pdf
Please be sure to pack a change of clothes in your child’s backpack. An extra shirt, pair of sweatpants, and pair of socks are very helpful in case of run-
ins with puddles at recess or milk spills at lunch. We have a very limited supply of items to loan, and when we run out, we will need to phone a parent to get dry clothing.

LES Musical Update
Dear Lincoln Parents,
The 1st – 4th graders are working so hard on their holiday musicals! We are having a blast preparing for their big debut in the new high school auditorium.
Here are a few reminders/updates regarding the musicals.
All students should have received a script and a cd. (some students chose not to take a cd)
All 2nd and 4th graders should have a copy of their individual parts. Every student that wanted a speaking part received one. Please make sure that
they are working on memorizing their parts! Note the date change – (due to the high school auditorium being under
construction) Wednesday, December 19th 1st and 2nd grade musical at 6:00 p.m. 3rd and 4th grade musical at 7:15 p.m.
Students in 2nd and 4th grade will receive their costume one week before the show.
Students without costumes should plan on wearing nice dress clothes that are not too warm. If you have any questions or concerns please email me at [email protected]
Sincerely,
Ms. Oftedahl

Port Youth Wrestling‐2019
The Port Washington Wrestling Club sponsors the Junior Piranha and Piranha youth wrestling programs. These programs feed directly into the Port Washington High School Wrestling program. For this reason, it is our policy that the youth wrestler is to be a Port Washington/Saukville School District student including the parochial/private schools in the district.
Junior Piranhas‐ The focus of these practice will be on introducing the fundamentals of
wrestling and having fun. There are tournaments available for students this young but we do not recommend focusing on competition at this age. Grades: K‐4 Dates: January 2‐March 13 Day: Wednesdays Times: K‐2 6:00‐7:00 pm 3‐4 7:00‐8:00pm Fee: $50.00 Location: Port Washington High School Wrestling Room
Piranhas‐The intensity in the practices does increase, however the focus is still on development
and getting the kids ready to compete at the high school level. The coaches will commit to attending 5 weekend tournaments and we do host our own invitational. Grades 5‐8 (advanced 4th graders may join this group) Dates: January 3‐March 14 Day: Tuesdays & Thursdays Times: 6:00‐8:00 pm Fee: $100.00 Location: Port Washington High School Wrestling Room
Practices will be held the week of March 19 for those wrestlers who have qualified for the state tournament.
We will also be holding practices on Mondays for those wrestlers who would like more one‐on‐one instruction for additional $50. This is highly recommended for 7th and 8th graders
