While basketball, wrestling and hockey are now in
full swing, would you believe it’s already time to start
thinking about baseball?! Yep. Signups for the 2016
season’s Glasgow Reds American Legion Baseball
program and Babe Ruth program will be held at the
Glasgow Elks Lodge on Sunday afternoon, December
13th at 3:00. Organizers need to know how many
players are expected this upcoming season in order
to have the scheduling done well in advance. If you
have questions, feel free to contact Bryan Krumweide
or Tanja Fransen. Pictured above are VFW Pos

Zaborowski presenting the colors during opening
ceremonies of the 2015 American Legion Eastern
District Tournament held on Bill Connors Field at

A group of Americans were travelingby tour bus through Switzerland. As theystopped at a cheese arm, a young guideled them through the process o cheesemaking, explaining that goat’s milk wasused. She showed the group a lovelyhillside where many goats were grazing.
Tese goats,” she explained, “are theolder goats put out to pasture when theyno longer produce any milk.” She then asked, ‘What do you do inAmerica with your old goats?’ A spry old gentleman answered,“Tey throw us on bus tours!”
