BOARD OF DIRECTORS There are three open positions for the Board of Directors. Resumes for those interested are due

by February 1st, 2019 at the close of business. Any regular stock member in good standing for two

years and desiring to serve on the Board of Directors shall submit a written resume as to their

background, age, years of membership, education qualifications and the reason you desire to serve

as a director of the club. Please turn your resume into David or Patsy on or

before February 1st

Thanks to David and Denise for scheduling and hosting the Adidas Trunk Show. We had a great turnout of ladies with lots of Adidas clothing and shoe items to choose from. And as always, the ladies in the grill prepared some great appetizers for all of us to enjoy.

Hole In One Club

We are continuing a hole in one club into 2019 and we

want everyone to be involved

it is only

$5.00 each

Explanation: The way this works is when a member of the Hole in One Club gets a

verifiable hole in one in a club tournament, each member of the club is then billed

$5.00. This in turn will cover the expenses for the day (if you know what I mean)

for the person making a hole in one. If interested, please let us know in the golf

shop asap. Good Luck to all! If you have already signed up for the HIO club, your

entry is good going forward for 2019

Dear Fox Run Country Club Member,

The ability to vote, have a voice, is an important role that citizens have.

Fox Run members have a choice, to be involved with the business of the club by owning a

share of stock and participating in voting on club business, or not owning stock and not having

a voice. To encourage participation and involvement in the Fox Run Country Club the Board of

Directors invites the members to purchase a share of stock in the club so you can vote at the

annual meeting for the Board of Directors. Additionally, stock holding members are eligible to

run for a Board of Directors position after two years of stock ownership and being a member

in good standing.

Right now a share of stock costs $300.00. The share of stock comes with the right to vote at

the Annual Meeting in April. The only way to have a voice is to vote. Exercise your right.

Effective immediately any stock purchase will come with the additional benefit of membership

in the BUYERS CLUB program. This program provides large discounts on purchases in the Pro

Shop for clubs, balls, shoes, remote golf carts and apparel.

Going forward the Buyers Club will only be open to stock holding Fox Run members.

Once the share of stock is purchased the member will get a share of stock, voting rights and

membership in the BUYERS CLUB. If you want to vote in the upcoming Board Member election

this April 2019 we encourage you to purchase a share at the $300.00 share price (which

includes instant Buyers Club membership).

Fox Run is a special place. The members of the different groups, the 552, Ladies, Seniors,

Players and Juniors all contribute to the dynamic that makes this club unique and a great

value. Our Pro David Fels and his staff work hard to make the member experience the best

possible. The club relies on the membership to help grow and flourish. If you’re a new member

and don’t own a share of stock this is a great time to get involved and have your voice heard. If

you’re a longtime member and don’t own stock, now is a perfect time to become more

The Handicap/Tournament committee has decided to go forward with the Tee it Forward for 2019. The committee is

implementing the following for 2019. In 2019 for Tournaments Only, Fox Run Country Club will keep the current

age restrictions where tees are concerned. Those conditions are:

Blue Tees Men Age 54 and under

White Tees Men Age 55 to 69

Gold Tees Men Age 70 and up

Red Tees Men Age 80 and up/ All Ladies

The Committee will also honor the ability provision that says, “Any member with a handicap index of 12.0 or above

as of December 1st of 2018 can move up one tee box.

Ex. a player that is 53 with a 12.4 index can play the white tees in tournaments.

All members who wish to move forward, must notify the golf shop by January 1, 2019 as to which tee boxes they intend

to play from for the coming year. The selected must be used all year long

Members playing with other groups (552, Seniors, etc.) their respective tees will be administered by their regular group.

Greetings From the Grounds:

This month we will be going to the three hole locations on our greens which we will rotate every two days. We

will also be changing hole locations once a month as winter moves on. In the next week or so, we will paint all

of the greens for the winter, so look for that soon. We will continue to blow leaves and remove dead trees

throughout the winter. As well, we will be using a 50 foot lift to get trimming and removal of trees done during

the winter months.

We are just about finished with filling #15 bunker and upon completion we will sod the affected area for future

use.

As always we will see you on the course and hit em right down the middle.

Upon completion of the bunker on #15, the old bunker will not be visible and the hill will have a soft fall to the

green that will be sodded with 419 Bermuda grass. This will help eliminate a bunker that has drainage problems

and as well will give mower turn room for greens mowing.
