Deciduous Forest Biome

Deciduous forests can be found in Eastern Half of North America, Middle of Europe, and Asia. Some of the major areas that they are in are southwest Russia, Japan, and eastern China. There are also some deciduous forests located in New Zealand, and southeastern Australia.

There are many types of plants in the Deciduous Forest ranging in from big trees to mushrooms. Many of the plants adapt to the forest life. The plants usually provide for the animals for food, they will test the plants out to see if its good to eat or not. Not only does the plant provide for the animals they also provide for themselves.Some Plants you may come along by in the forest: American Beech, Carpet Moss, Common Lime, Guelder Rose, Lady Fern, Northern Arrowwood, Pecan, Shagbark Hickory, Tawny Milksap Mushroom, White Birch, and last but not least White Oak.

Many of the animals have adapted to forest life.
