Follow this step-by-step guide on how to prepare lists of companies or decision makers using Hoover’s Build A List tool.

STEP ONE:

Select Build A List from the Hoover’s home page.

STEP TWO:

Select the criteria for your list. Note that the number of available results is updated as you change criteria. To retrieve downloadable results only, fi lter your list by checking the “Downloadable Only” box.*

STEP THREE:

Once you have selected your criteria, click “View Results.”

STEP FOUR:

On the results page, you can edit your search criteria or save your search for future reference. Use the Edit Criteria and Save Search Criteria functions accordingly.

*Take your searching a step further:

STEP FIVE:

Select the Download List button on the results page.

STEP SIX:

Choose the fi elds you want included in your spreadsheet, choose between Excel and CSV format, then click Download to export your list.

STEP SEVEN:

Work, sort, and save your list of companies or decision makers.
