TRANSFORMATIONDepending on the patterns, DECORGLASS and MASTERGLASS glass can be: • Assembled into double-glazing.

Depending on the design, placing the printed face on face 2, 3 or 4 of the double-glazed unit is recommended for easier care.

• Toughened or enamelled (safety glass) For toughening purposes DECORGLASS is available in SR Quality.

All MASTERGLASS pattern are temperable.• Assembled into STADIP or STADIP

PROTECT laminated safety glass (enhanced protection),

• Assembled into STADIP SILENCE acoustic safety laminated glass (acoustic insulation), For assembling in laminated glass, DECORGLASS is available in SR + quality.

• Shaped, curved, silvered, lacquered or sandblasted.

QUALITY The quality of DECORGLASS and MASTERGLASS complies with standard EN 572-5.DECORGLASS WIRED complies with the standard EN 572-6 for wired printed glass.

INSTALLATIONDECORGLASS, DECORGLASS WIRED and MASTERGLASS must be installed in accordance with prevailing safety standards and regulations.• All printed glass has a direction. To

achieve a uniform aesthetic result, the glass must be cut in the right direction and the sheets must then be placed next to each other in the same direction. When the continuity of the patterns is requested, special care must be taken when cutting.

• Installing wired glass from the WIRED range above a heat source is forbidden. In case of installation in a humid environment or an environment with significant air pollution, the edges of WIRED glazing must be protected.

PRIVACYPrivacy level varies from one pattern to the other. Saint Gobain has set a specific test which allows to rank privacy of each pattern in 3 levels:• High privacy (H): the glass will

protect intimacy. The glass conceals from direct view, and can be used for private rooms (bathroom, entrance door, partition...)

• Mid high (M): privacy is intermediate. The glass will prevent from direct view, but shapes and colors will be recognisable.

• Low intimacy (L): the glass doesn't protect from direct view.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS LIGHT TRANSMITTANCE The light transmittance of DECORGLASS and MASTERGLASS clear printed glass is between 70 and 90% depending on the pattern and thickness.
