Organizational Code Structure
When requesting access for users, it’s important that you only request access to organizations that are absolutely needed in order for the user to perform their job functions.
You must include a complete and accurate organization code in order to gain access to the organization(s) you desire.
To include multiple org strings/UICS/Commands, use the ‘%’ sign (wildcard) when requesting access. For example, if you need to give someone access to everyone on Fort Bragg within command code LC, you would request DNLC%. Alternatively, if you need to restrict access to a specific organization, you would simply type that org code down to the org string needed, i.e. DNLCWU5588LD2
Organization Codes ExplainedDNLCWU5588LD2
1. CCPO ID (i.e. DN)
2. Command Code (i.e. LC)
3. UIC (i.e. WU5588)
4. Org String (i.e. LD2)
1 2 3 4
Where do the Org Codes Go?
All org codes must be listed on the DCPDS form in the ‘Organization Component IDs’ section.
If you have multiple org codes that will not all fit on the DCPDS form, you can attach a document detailing your needed organizations.
