WHY OUR STUDENTS CHOOSE NSU• Small class sizes give one-to-one access to professors and
a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
• A vibrant campus life includes NCAA athletics, social and professional organizations, cultural activities, and wellness and fitness.
• Only highly credentialed professors teach our classes. There are no teaching assistants.
• Undergraduate students may participate in NSU research in fields like medicine, oceanography, cancer, psychology, dentistry, and autism.
• There are prestigious graduate programs in medicine, law, psychology, business, education, pharmacy, dentistry, and more.
• From internships to clinical experiences, NSU believes in allowing our students to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world experiences.
• Through Experiential Education and Learning (ExEL) at NSU, you will be exposed to a world of hands-on opportunities that enrich your academic life, while helping you reach your professional and personal goals. As part of ExEL, you can choose to conduct research with a faculty mentor, enroll in courses that take you far beyond the classroom, test drive your future career with an internship, give back to your community as a volunteer, or earn credits while studying and exploring abroad.
DUAL ADMISSION PROGRAMNSU created the Dual Admission Program for a select group of highly motivated students focused on their career goals from an early age. As a Dual Admission student, you are reserved a seat in one of NSU’s graduate or professional schools, while you earn your undergraduate degree.
FARQUHAR HONORS COLLEGENSU created the Farquhar Honors College for students who have demonstrated a passion for learning and crave more from their university experience. The program is intensely personal, offering a broader, richer, and deeper academic experience.
