their community - and their place in it.” Harry Hairston, NBC 10

5 Categories of Bike Show Prizes – plus each winner receives $100!
When we approached Hannum’s Brandywine Harley-Davidson, they didn’t hesitate to step in
and offer to sponsor this exciting fund-raising event. We are very appreciative of their support. Hannums was started by Tom Hannum, Jr. in 1954. He was so
passionate about motorcycles that he was able to convince his father, Tom Sr, to sell his automotive business to purchase a Harley-Davidson franchise. This family business continues to bring the ‘thrill of
the ride” to customers and bike enthusiasts throughout the mid-Atlantic. Hannum’s is committed to helping Delaware County History live through the
lives and experiences of our children. DCHS THANKS THEM FOR SPONSORING THIS

PASSPORT TO HISTORY is an educational program produced by the Delaware County Historical Society
that teaches local history to 4,000 Delco area 4th and 5th Grade students
each year. Children are given a ‘PASSPORT’ which gets ‘stamped’ at
each historic site they visit. When they’ve completed their passport, they
receive a special certificate. We thank the hundreds of participating teachers, volunteers and sponsors who
make this program possible.
