Science Expo Youth Empowerment Group is a non-pro!t, entirely youth-run organization which aims to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) opportunities to high school students. Science Expo's goal is to spark students' interest and empower them to seek STEM opportunities and engage in continuous learning. Science Expo was founded by !ve individuals who met at the 2009 Canada Wide Science Fair and wanted to encourage more students to get involved. To date, the organization has successfully held two annual conferences, and has expanded to include several other outreach programs. Science Expo aims to inspire students to become more engaged in extracurricular STEM activities, and to provide them with the resources to do so.
