DELIVERANCE FROM EVIL FOUNDATION
But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness: and the house ofJacob shall possess their possessions. Obadiah 1:17.
For over 20 years that I have been pastoring the most difficult and the most problematic situations Ihave come across are problems that emanate from foundations. Polygamous powers have convertedso many eagles to chickens. It is a power that has made promising people to become nonentities. It isa power that has turned so many people's progress into desert places.
A lot of people would have done better in their lives if not for the polygamous power. Polygamyoriginated from the line of the murderer called Cain in the Bible. It did not start from the live of Seth.It started from the line of Cain and not from the line of God himself.
THE FIRST POLYGAMIST
The first recorded polygamist was a man called Lamech. Despite the loss of his birth right, Esau wasa polygamist. God warned the kings of Israel never to be polygamous. When they disobeyed God theirproblems began, range from untimely death to disfavour and destruction.
WHAT IS POLYGAMY?
Polygamy is the practice of having more than one wife. There are over 40 polygamists in theScriptures. All of them reaped evil consequences. God's original design is one man and one wife. Thewater of polygamy is bitter. It has polluted and darkened many people's destinies. Any unofficial wifeor unofficial husband is polygamy as far as the Bible is concerned.
Even if you do not practise polygamy but it existed in your background, it is better you pray and breakloose from its hold. Prevention is better than cure.
AN EVIL FOUNDATION
If you come from a family where all the men used to have strange women, it is better for you to prayabout it. All agenda of strange women is polygamy as far as the Bible is concerned and you need topray about it. If you come from a family where your forefathers used to have concubines, it was stillpolygamy as far as the Bible is concerned and you need to pray about it. If you are practising amonogamous home but you come from a polygamous home, you still need to pray because you are stillunder the bondage.
When you have great difficulty keeping a partner, check whether you are having the spirit of
polygamy. If you are young and you go from one girl friend to another, you are already an eaglet ofpolygamy. If you come from a royal family where the king had so many wives, you are under thebondage of polygamy.
THE MYSTERY OF POLYGAMY
Polygamy is the building ground of one of the wicked oppressions of satan. It is the origin of quarrels,rivalry, envy, lack of peace, evil competition and struggle with all kinds of powers to make sure thatthe children are protected. It involves all kinds of anointing to make sure that the children survive,struggle with all kinds of powers for the virtue of the children not to be transferred or destroyed.
When there is polygamy power, it results in teenage depressions and teenage pregnancy. Ladies fromsuch families sometimes suffer rapist attacks. Broken homes, premature death, prostitution, high deathat pregnancy, low life expectancy, suicide, domestic stress, all these are outflows of polygamy.General human underdevelopment, poverty, transfer of demons and transfer of diseases, vagabondchildren, illegitimate children and all kinds of wickedness are results of polygamy.
THE EVIL RIVALRY
In a polygamous family, wives go out of their way to look for the greatest power to destroythemselves and one anothers' children. Many people from polygamous homes who are destined to besuccessful are pulled down very early in life.
All kinds of witchcraft activities take place in polygamous homes. All kinds of social problems takeplace there. All kinds of curses are issued on the children by the multiple wives. All kinds ofproblematic children and those with strange characters come from polygamous homes.
A pastor whose father had 18 wives and 67 children 55 child. He was the only child in thatpolygamous home that went to the university and graduated. It took him eight years before he couldgraduate. He would not have even graduated if he had not joined the MFM.
Most of the time, polygamy gives birth to unsuccessful children. If you are from a polygamous familyand you are still practising any sexual sin, you cannot be delivered from the bondage of polygamy.You need to repent on behalf of your polygamous parents and ancestors.
You need to carry out warfare prayers to set you free. It is almost impossible to find a black man whoin one way or the other is not associated with problems of polygamous bondage, familiar spirits andcultism.
How To Get Delivered From Polygamous Bondage1. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ.2. Ask for repentance on behalf of your ancestors.3. Wage war to dismantle the plantations of polygamy in your life.

CHAPTER TWO
DELIVERANCE FOR INDIGENES OF RIVERINEAREAS
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, whichdeceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast outwith him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength,and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethrenis cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame himby the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not theirlives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to theinhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having greatwrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Rev 12:9-12.
The Bible passage above makes it crystal clear that there was a war in heaven. The devil and hisagents were cast out of heaven and they made their headquarters in the water.
THE WATER KINGDOM
The water spiritual kingdom is an arm of the kingdom of darkness. That is why people in many partsof the world worship waters. There are plenty feasts and festivals are devoted to the water spirits. Asyou enter the Lagos State of Nigeria you see a signboard saying "Welcome to the city of aquaticsplendour."
There is nothing like aquatic splendour but aquatic problems. Special priests are trained to ministerto water spirits. In Nigeria that it is forbidden to eat the fish that comes from some waters. Differentkinds of animals that you see at the shore of the sea are animals sacrificied to the waters. Waterspiritual kingdom is an arm of the kingdom of darkness. Satan has used it to destroy the purpose ofGod on the face of the earth. Water spirits sometimes makes claim to creation and even to dominion.They also make claim to power and money.
The Bible says:
Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king ofEgypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river ismine own, and I have made it for myself. Ezekiel 29:3.
More than any other entity, the kingdom from the waters has challenged the sovereignty of God in thelives of so many people.Before creation, the earth was full of water. The Bible as:
In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth. Gen 1:1.
Seventy percent of the world surface is water. The whole earth is founded on water. The Bible says:
The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.Psalm 24: 1.
The whole earth and the entire world were founded on water. Spirits can be found anywhere there iswater-spring, oceans and deep seas. Unfortunately spirits do not let go of their victims easily. WhenJesus confronted the demons who possessed the man of Gadarene. They begged Him to allow to gointo the pigs.
And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. Andwhen he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man withan unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs: and no man could bind him,no, not with chains: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, andthe chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neithercould any man tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in thetombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran andworshipped him, And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus,thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. For hesaid unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thyname? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besoughthim much that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nighunto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying,Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave.And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violentlydown a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in thesea. And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And theywent out to see what it was that was done. Mark 5: 1-14.
Of all the agents of darkness that confront deliverance ministers, the water spirits always have thefiercest resistance.
THE ORGANISATION
In many parts of the world, water spirits are represented by serpents who operates like godscontrolling a school. They have files and documents and some of their activities are evencomputerised.
A file can be opened for a person and its owner can be dealt with without his knowledge.
A lot of people have been unconsciously or consciously initiated into the dark spirit kingdom,sometimes, through family ties, idolatry or ancestral worship. Sometimes it is through friends,associations, eating, exchanging gifts or fornication.
All forms of idolatry reported in the scriptures originated from the water. There are three strongholdsin the universe: the heaven, the earth and the water. But the most difficult to deal with is the water.
Everyone who originates from the riverine area has a specific thing to do with it. If you are born,married to someone or grew up in the riverine area, there is no way the water powers will not haveinfluence over you. Therefore, you need to pray.
There are some specific things you will notice in the character of people born in the riverine areas.1. When there is a marine spirit in a one's life, you will notice weakness in once's spiritual life.
Reading the Bible will be difficult. Praying will be a hard thing to do. When you get angry easilyor little things trigger the hot temper in you, there is marine pollution in place.
2. Difficulty in settling down in one's marriage.3. Having dreams of water4. High rate of immorality and alcoholism.5. Uncontrollable sexual urge.6. Hindrance to progress.7. Business failure.8. Constant witchcraft attacks.9. Unexplainable fibroid in the womb.
10. Lust for a partner.11. Juvenile problems.12. Broken homes.
A lot of possessions, destinies and life inheritance are tied down in the water. A lot of profitabledestinies have been destroyed by water spirit.
The Bible says:
The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved. And Huzzabshall he led away captive, she shall be brought up, and her maids shall lead her as withthe voice of doves, tabering upon their breasts. But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water:yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back. Take ye thespoil of silver; take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out ofall the pleasant furniture. Nahum 2:6-9.
Marine powers are responsible for dragging vehicles into the water. They are stubborn powers. A lotof beautiful women and handsome men are under the anointing of marine powers. Some of them are sobold and they do strange things. They exchange babies in the womb and deposit all kinds of terriblethings in people's life. They fight terrible fight with anyone that tries to free what they have captured.
How do you free yourself, from the battle of marine powers?1. You have to surrender your life to Jesus Christ.2. You have to pray enquiring prayers to know the area of your life that is under the grip of marine
powers.3. You have to pray inquisitive prayers to find out who amongst your family is worshipping water
spirits. A lot of places in Nigeria are completely under the bondage of water spirits.4. You have to report water spirits to God.5. You have to renounce the covenants and dedication of water spirits.6. You need to carry out warfare to possess your possessions.7. You need to wage war against water spirits remove your record from their archives and possess
your possessions.
CHAPTER THREE
THE PROBLEM OF BEWITCHMENT
But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city usedsorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some greatone: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is thegreat power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he hadbewitched them with sorceries. But when they believed Philip preaching the thingsconcerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, bothmen and women. Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, hecontinued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received theword of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Acts 8:9-14.
The Bible makes it clear that there is a weapon called sorcery and its agenda is to bewitch people. Inthe passage above one man bewitched a whole city giving the impession that he was a great one. Allthe people in the city were saying that; he was a great man of God." They had regard for him becausefor a long time he had bewitched them with sorcery.
But when they believed Philip who preached of the things of God, a contrary power moved to the city.It was the power of the kingdom of God which cannot be challenged or contended with. As a mater ofrule, whenever a great power comes across a lesser power, the lesser power must bow.
WHEN POWER CHANGES HANDS
The hurricane is boasting, dry leaves are talking and the terrible are boasting. But the moment of truthis coming. When the greater power came into Samaria, power changed hands.
Bewitchment is a horrible thing. A lot of people are under the same position that the Samaritans were.A lot of people under demonic sufferings for the whole of their lives. They are under blindness andsatanic illusion, yet they still praise the man responsible for their plight.
The Samarians did not know who Simon was. He was sapping them dry but they believed that he wasdelivering them. He was destroying their properties and he also made sure that they were blinded.And the people were ignorantly hailing the enemy that was putting them down.
Bewitchment had taken place in Samaria. They called their enemy friend and called their friendsenemies. Sadness, sickness and infirmity were everywhere in the land. Unclean spirits havepossessed many people. Nevertheless, they went on with their lives as if there was no problem. Theywere blinded by the devil.
There was sickness in the land and it never bothered them. Unclean spirits were everywhere and ineveryone yet they strangely felt normal. They thought that Simon was the answer, whereas he was thequestion and the problem.
Ironically, slowly and happily they were dying and praising the one who was drowning their boat.They were bewitched. It was the Holy Spirit that located Simon.
AN EVIL INFLUENCE
What does it mean to bewitch a person?To bewitch is to spiritually influence a person through witchcraft. Bewitchment is a terrible thing.
A beautiful lady was to get married in Port Harcourt, Nigeria and was in the church waiting for thegroom. For two hours the groom was not seen. People went looking for him surprisingly found himplaying lawn tennis. And he said he was no longer interested in the marriage.
Later, the sister found another person man and the relatives advised that they should wed quietly. Theyshould wed at a registry and there to where a small party would be held without making a noise.
They went to the registry and as they left there, the man all of a sudden pulled off his dress and ranmad. The lady had been bewitched.
THE REAL BONDAGE
While I was at the university in the United Kingdom, we were told that a professor of Old Testamentwas coming. The professor would read Psalm to Psalm 155 from his memory in Hebrew and English.We were very anxious to see the man.
He came to the podium and greeted us, read Psalm to Psalm 17 and asked that he wanted to rest. Wewere amazed that he could read those chapters off hand. But we were shocked that the man broughtout a pack of cigarettes and lit one. Immediately everybody packed his bag and left.
He was a man who had memorized the word of God even more than a believer, but his life wasbewitched. When you are influenced by sorcerers, diviners or magicians, it is called bewitchment.
I was at a prison to minister to the inmates. I met a boy of 2 and asked about his jail term. He said hewas jailed for 25 years. I asked what was his offence. He said he raped a woman of 80 years old. Bythe time the boy would leave the prison, he would be at 45. He would have wasted the prime of hislife in jail.
THE EVIL VOICE
I asked him why he decided to rape an 80 year old woman, not even a young woman, he said a voicetold him to do it. That voice that said the evil words to him was a voice of bewitchment.
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, beforewhose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? Gal 3:1.
Bewitchment can make a person not to know the truth. It blinds. A bewitched person is somebodydancing to the drum beat of evil drummers. He is somebody who keeps repeating the same mistakes.When a person is bewitched, he will make unpardonable mistakes.
A university lecturer liked a girl in his class and gave her the question paper to study, so that shecould pass the examination. But despite this the girl still wrote rubbish in the examination.
The lecturer, a professor, now with his own handwriting, wrote the answers for the girl. Incidentallyhe was not the teacher of the course. It was another lecturer that would mark the answer papers.Immediately the lecturer saw the girls paper, he knew it was the professor's handwriting. That washow the professor's beautiful career was spoiled. The professor had been bewitched.
A bewitched person always operates under a power that is beyond his control. He would completelylose joy. He is somebody who finds easy things very difficult. He is always pursued by a particularterrible force. It is a terrible thing to fall into the cage of bewitchment.
THE CRAB SPIRIT
If you take a cursory look at the life of a black man, you will notice that he operates like a crab. If youput a lot of crabs in a bucket, you will notice that not one of them will not be able to rise up becausethey pull one another down. The black man pulls himself down. If you look at the black countries ofthe world, it seems as if there is no hope for them to have good leadership.
Anything about starvation and poverty is associated with Africans. This is bewitchment. For anational bewitchment there must be a city bewitchment and personal bewitchment. If majority of thepeople are bewitched, definitely they will get bewitched leaders. Unfortunately, our forefathers donot help matters at all. They worshiped idols. Anytime you give yourself to an idol, it gets God veryangry. The Bible says, "I, the Lord your God, I am a jealous God." The Bible also says that you shallnot worship other gods except Him, and thou shall not make unto yourself any graven image noranything in the likeness of Him.
A lot of people put over their neck a cross with the image of Jesus Christ. Unknown to them JesusChrist is no longer on the cross. If he were still on the cross then a lot of believers would be doomed.Unknown to the people who put a cross over their neck, when a hole is made on the cross, it is nolonger a cross, it is a hank. A hank is the cross of witchcraft. The cross on which Jesus died is calledSt. Anthony's Cross.
Bewitchment has dragged very many people below the standard God wants them to be.
How do you deal with bewitchment?1. You need to surrender your life to Jesus Christ.2. You need to realise that there is a problem.3. You need to wage war against bewitchment.4. You need to barricade your life so that bewitchment does not catch up with you.
Any consistent problem is bewitchment. Any consistent dream that puts you in trouble is bewitchment.
You need to pray for total freedom from bewitchment.
