Housing Affordability – a different

• Needed a greater correlation between household income and cost of housing
• Opportunity to design our approach to support our economic ambitions
Slide 8Delivering new homes in Manchester

Have we learned anything?• Housing growth is challenging
but there are opportunities for
new forms of delivery
• We may have to create new
markets and neighbourhoods
• Invest our land and assets to
support growth ambitions
• The best ideas are often the
simplest
