• Urban schools (99.6%) are better than rural schools (97.4%) and schools in remote areas (73.7%)

• 35.2% schools with 2-star are located in rural Sabah and Sarawak

• 54.1% schools with 2-star are located in the remote areas of Sabah and Sarawak
