    Businessesneedtochangetothrivein the digitalage.Manyof ourclientsarelookingto takeadvantageofdigitalpossibilitiesinordertobuildlastingvaluefortheirorganisations.HavingbeenanearlymoverinprovidingservicessupportingDigitalTransformation and now with the recent establishment of our DeloitteDigitalpractice,wearewellpositionedtohelpcompaniesachievetheirambitionsthroughstrategytoproductdevelopment capabilities and increase the impact for their stakeholders.

    Apartfromdeliveringinnovativesolutionsto our clients,we developviabledigitalplatformsforourpeople.InFY2019,we launchedan enhancedcloud-basedTalentplatform,whichsimplifiesperformancemanagementandemployeecollaborationprocesses.We alsobegandevelopmentof the CorporateResponsibilityand Sustainability(CR&S)Platformat the endof the financialyearto facilitatethe implementationofourCR&SStrategywithinthefirm.

    Westronglybelievethatknowledgesharingandinvestmentineducationarecrucialfor sustainabledevelopment,andweempowerourpeoplethroughprofessionaltraining.Whatismore,wecontinuetoequipthebusinesscommunitywithpracticalandhighlyspecialisedskillsthroughtheDeloitteAcademy,whichhasopenedanewsub-divisionandexpandeditscourseofferings.In2019,theDeloitteAcademywasnameda keyplayerontheCISbusiness-educationmarketbythebusinesscommunityandwasnominatedasaMarketLeaderat the2019TrainingAwards.

    Westrivetodrivesignificantandpositivechangeinsociety.Lastyear,weincreasedoursocietalimpactthroughtheglobalDeloitteWorldClassinitiativetosupportpeopleinachieving

    theiraspirationsandpotentialbyparticipatingintraditionalandskills-basedvolunteering.DuringImpactDay,ourprofessionalsputtheirskillsandknowledgetouseinpro-bonoprojects,trainingandvolunteeringaimedatsocialprogress.Morethan 300 people came together for the event, which was attendedby representativesofaround30NGOsandcharitablefoundations.WeaimtocontinueexpandingImpactDayintheupcomingyears.

    In response to the growing concern about climate change, we have broadened our Green Agenda and taken important stepstotacklespecificenvironmentalchallenges.Thisincludesintroducingawasteseparationandrecyclingsystem,adoptinga SustainableProcurementPolicyandactivelysharinginformation about responsible consumption habits among our people.

    Our experience shows that the connections we forge across businesses, countries and organisations are at the core of our success.Aschallengesgrowandexpectationsofbusinessand Deloitte increase, the connections we make will be more importantthanever.

    Intellectual game in St. PetersburgOn20March,ateamfromDeloitte’sSt.Petersburgofficeparticipatedinanintellectualgameorganizedby the charitablefoundationAdVita.Teamsfrom16 corporationsparticipated,andDeloittetooksecondplace.Thankstothebusinesscommunity’sparticipation,the foundationmanagedtoraiseRUB372,900.Donationswereusedtopayforbloodtypingof32bonemarrowsamplesfrom potential donors and their inclusion in the Russian bone marrowdonorregistry.Eachpotentialdonorcouldpotentiallybe a genetic match for a person awaiting a bone marrow transplant.Byparticipatinginthegame,theteamgranted32 peopleachanceatrecovery.
