The luxurious feel of silent and soft closing is already established in kitchen furniture. Now it's also available for refrigerators and freezers as well as warming drawers: from the Quadro Compact runner system. Quadro Compact gives kitchen appliance manufacturers a whole new poten-tial for standing apart in domestic appliance design, ergo-nomics and functionality.

All based on sturdy ball bearing technology: QuadroQuadro Compact is based on the extremely durable Quadro technology using the ball bearing principle that's been tried and proven in thousands of applications. Steel balls in ultra precision steel profiles guarantee silky smooth running action and maximum stability – both vertically and horizontally. And benefiting from Silent System for silent and soft closing, shutting drawers hardly makes a noise either.

It works perfectly. And it fascinates.The concealed runner in no way distracts from the design of the domestic appliance. Quadro Compact performs per-fectly even at extreme temperatures from -25 °C to +90 °C, always closing refrigerator and freezer compart-ments as well as warming drawers gently, quietly and with controlled action. The other benefits also excite kitchen buyers: work egonomics, full view of drawer contents (from full or over extension runners) as well as convenient access to all provisions.

Quadro Compact HD is the high performance runner for large external drawers. Use of the Parallel System gets running stability and synchronously controlled action to very large, wide external drawers.

Quadro Compact FE 20 brings an incredible feel of luxury to small, internal crisper drawers.

Quadro Compact FE 40 provides large internal crisper drawers and small external drawers with noticeably smooth running quality.

Quadro Compact FE 20UseHybrid ball bearings and cushioning end stops

The Quadro Compact FE 20 slide brings exquisite movement to small, internal crisper drawers.

The interaction of steel balls, cushioning plas-tic balls and end stops ensure extremely quiet running performance. Unladen drawers merely run on the cushioning plastic balls; once laden, their weight is additionally supported by steel balls.

Within the modular system, configuring a runner can be as variable as this: the Quadro Compact FE 20 slide is optionally available with detent-in function, self closing or Silent System, each in white or single-plated. The brackets face upwards. The self closing or Silent System assemblies are fitted on one side (on the left hand runner).

Convenient clip systemThe Quadro Compact clip system makes inter-nal drawers easy to install and remove: the drawer simply clips onto the runner. The drawer now engages at the front locking spring and is secured by a catch spring. To remove the drawer – e.g. for cleaning – all you do is disengage the clip.

Quadro Compact HD with Parallel SystemUseConcept

The product components illustrated also apply to the right hand runner. The only difference is between the right and left hand pulley bracket. The left hand pulley bracket has a spring system that defines the tension of

the wire rope. This feature is not provided for the right hand pulley bracket.

The use of wire ropes synchronises the drawer runners. Synchronization ensures tremendous lateral stability.

Large refrigerators with wide external drawers are getting more and more popular. Hettich has developed the Parallel System specifically for this application. Combined with Quadro Compact HD, it impresses with luxurious running stability.
