Born and raised in Simi Valley, Misty has an 11 year old daughter who is as active in sports (Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and All-star Softball) as Misty was. Misty was State Champion and third in the USA as a competitive Roller Skater in Free Style and Dance. Teresa started with us last summer as Dr. Lane’s Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). She has excellent skills, credentials and lots of personality. Before coming to us Teresa was an RDA at UCLA Dental School and in private practice. Our Registered Dental Hygienists are Meredith and Jo. Meredith has been taking wonderful care of our patients for two years. She and her lovely family live nearby in West Hills. Jo who is very skilled and caring returned to our team when Ginger retired. Jo too is a wonderful hygienist and she also teaches hygiene one day a week. By the way, Ginger is very happily living with her husband, Steve, on a lake in Tennessee and she invites y’all to stop in and say hi! Leslie, our fantastic Super-Sub RDA and #1 Dodger fan, assisted Dr. Lane while Katt was on maternity leave. Katt , now a full time mom, gave birth to a healthy and beautiful girl, Scarlet. We all look forward to meeting you or seeing you again soon. Please Don’t Keep Us A Secret. We love your referrals! Thank you for telling your family and friends where you go for dental care. How Do You Know......if you’re showing signs of aging?Shortened teeth are a sure sign; lengthening themmakes people look younger. We have methods to buildup shortened or chipped teeth.

...if you have periodontal disease?Periodontal, or gum, disease are rarely noticed in early

stages. Only by dental exam do you know for sure. However, there are some telltale symptoms: bleeding gums, bad

breath, loose teeth, or gums that are shrinking away from the teeth.

...if dentures need relining?Maximum denture life is 6-8 years. Reshaping

the denture base with a reline is necessary for ideal fit.

Love a SaLe?

Of course. But most of us have learned that it’s foolish to buy what we don’t need.

It’s just as foolish to cut corners on those things you do need, like brakes for your car, a roof over your head—and your regular dental checkup. Regular exams and cleanings are the best way to prevent problems. They give us a chance to find and fix little problems before they become big ones.

By fending off the dental gremlins, you save time in the dental chair—a big plus. You save the pain and frustration that accompany serious tooth and gum problems. You save dollars by avoiding major setbacks in your mouth. You save the good looks that radiate from your happy healthy smile.

And you gain the peace of mind that comes from knowing that by keeping gum disease in check, you have decreased your chance of heart disease, stroke, even diabetes. That’s right. Studies have shown a direct link between periodontitis and several debilitating diseases.

Don’t be tempted to skip an appointment.

Save, Don’t Scrimp!
