deodrants and antipersepirants
DESCRIPTION
human sweat with deodrants and antipersepirantsTRANSCRIPT
Human sweatHuman sweat itself is largely odorless until it is fermented by bacteria that thrive in hot, humid environments such as the human underarm. The armpits are among the consistently warmest areas on the surface of the human body
Deodorant and antiperspirantThere are two primary types of
products used to control body
odor. The first , deodorants ,
reduce body odor by killing
the odor-causing bacteria .
These products do not affect the
amount of perspiration the body
produces
Antiperspirants, on the other
hand, inhibit the activity
of sweat glands so
less moisture is
produced.
Deodorants are considered to be
cosmetic products because they
only control odor ,
antiperspirants
are actually drugs because they
affect the physiology of the body
Aluminum
Aluminum chloride, an aluminum salt that is commonly used in antiperspirants,. Aluminum itself adversely affects the
blood-brain barrier , is capable of causing DNA damage
What about the Aluminium in Deodorants?
All aluminium is part of our everyday diet.
To put it in perspective the aluminium in deodorants makes up less than two per cent of our daily intake. Furthermore there is no evidence to suggest that in any way has an effect on our
DNA.
With regard to non- aluminium based deodorants, you have to remember that without the aluminium you will not be tackling the issue of perspiration. This is the difference between a deodorant and an
anti-perspirant.
The natural deodorantCrystal Deodorant is a natural deodorant
or a healthy alternative to standard
deodorants.
Products like Crystal Stick Body

savings because they last so
long.
The crystal deodorant and its characteristicsThe deodorant stone products
or crystal rock deodorant displayed are

Free and Safe for the Environment.
Forms of deodorants and antispirants.
1- Usually contained in aerosol cans, these are pressurized liquid deodorants .
These are convenient for freshening up many times a day.
2-Roll-on - This is the first type of commercially available deodorant. The container has a ball in the middle
,which rolls to apply the liquid from the container to the skin.
3-Gel - This type of deodorant is
clear when applied, which is preferred
when you want to avoid staining your
skin or clothes.
4-Spray Stick - A solid deodorant that
is paste-like in consistency. It is extruded
from the deodorant container and spread
on to the armpits.
WARNING!Always make sure to observe your skin when trying a new product ,so as soon as you see redness, feel itchy or experience a burning sensation, stop using the product and wash immediately with mild soap and water. This is important because these unpleasant symptoms can occur even if you don't have allergies.
Why women should avoid using antiperspirants?
Women should concider not using any antiperspirants or deodorants that containing aluminum salts because they block the pores ,so aluminum salts can get into breast tissue
These salts are more concentrated in the areas of the breast where cancer is more likely to develop
on the side and towards the armpit
So it is safety to get a natural Aloe Vera
product that contains no
aluminium salts.
