The Department of Urban Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, the

University of Tokyo,

offers graduate study program with scholarship for foreign students.

The field of study in the Department is environmental engineering or urban and

regional planning.

The education and the research supervision are conducted either in English or in

Japanese.

Scholarship

The department will allocate a limited number of scholarships by recommending

candidates

to scholarship organizations, MEXT　(Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture,

Sports,

Science and Technology) and Asian Development Bank.

Degree Program　　MEXT Master and Doctoral

　　　　　　　　　　　　　 ADB Master

Eligibility

All MEXT/ADB scholars must matriculate in October 2014.

The applicant must also start their studies in Japan between 1 and 4 October 2014 .

Besides holding sufficient educational qualifications,

applicants must be born after April 2, 1979 .

Application

Applicants have to apply for the Program through On-Line application system

called "T-cens" to do registration, on-line submission and so on for October 2014

intake for Graduate Programs for Foreign Students, the admission with MEXT/ADB

scholarship.

The registration service to T-cens is available from 18th of Oct.

In addition to completing T-cens, all supporting documents must be submitted

via registered express mail by the application deadline specified.

Selection Process and Schedule

On-line Registration: 10th of Feb.

On-line Submission: 10th of Feb.　

*Please create your T-cens account no later than 08 February 2014,

otherwise you do not have enough time to compelte your online application through

T-cens.

Postal Submission: 13th of Feb. (All documents must be postmarked on or before

　13th Feb.)
