Advice from the Sorority Community

“I think the biggest thing for me and our new members is understanding that even though recruitment and the new member period are really hectic and a big time commitment once both are over you have way fewer mandatory events and

it's much more manageable.”

“I would say that I wish I would have known that the women in these chapters “I would say that I wish I would have known that the women in these chapters hold so many leadership positions outside of their chapters. We have Panhellenic leaders everywhere and we are a proud community. I would have loved to tell my parents that but I had no idea at the time! Plus it's something we should all be

proud of!”

“I would say I wish I knew to just have fun! This is a super exciting and fun “I would say I wish I knew to just have fun! This is a super exciting and fun experience where you get to meet special woman from each chapter, be yourself

and have a blast!”

“Utilize your Rho Gammas. They are a great resource to answer any questions you may have and to provide support throughout the entire process.”

“I think the one thing I repeated the most to PNM's last year during recruitment “I think the one thing I repeated the most to PNM's last year during recruitment was just to breathe, relax, be themselves and enjoy the process. I think so many girls think every single move they make is being judged that they forget to be themselves. So my suggestion for PNM's is to be themselves and have fun!

“Ask questions, and engage in conversations!”

“I would say I wish I had known to just relax during recruitment. Though they “I would say I wish I had known to just relax during recruitment. Though they have big decisions ahead of them I find that everything always works out the way it should be. I would say to them to remember to trust your gut, because you can never fully understand a chapter by the few days you have but you will

never regret doing what your heart says.”
