o Read the label. Only flags made specifically forexterior use should be displayed outdoors.e Keep it dry. Avoid exposing your flag to rain, snow or abnormally high winds.These harsh forces can shorten a flag's life considerably. lf a flag gets wet, lay it outflat to dry completely. Do not fold or roll up a wet or damp flag.o Clean your flag regularly to keep its colors looking bright. Avoid allowing dirt,smoke, dust or other airborne contaniments to "set" in the fabric and cause soilingor discoloration.. lnspect your flag regularly for signs of wear. ln particular, look for "normal wear" onthe fabric and thread breaks. This is particularly common on the end farthest fromthe staff. Trimming off and re-hemming torn or frayed ends will help extend the lifeof your flag.

Everyone wants to escape on vacation this summer, but packing can be such a hassle! Here area few summer travel tips to help you look your best while having fun in the sun:Stick with Neutrals. White, khaki, olive, black and brown can go a long way this summer!Men, throw on a white oxford and pair it with dark pants or a navy blazer. Women, addsummer flare to your neutrals with a fun black and brown animal print shoe or bag.Twin Sets Offer Temperature Control. Don't neglect your twin sets (i.e. cardigansweaters with matching shells) while traveling in the summer months. Wear them indoorsfor extra coverage and warmth, and shed the top layer when the temperature heats up.The cardigans can also provide a more appropriate look over a sundress or cute summertop.Dont Write Off Linen Completely. Linen and summer go hand in hand for a cool,comfortable look. Search for linens that have rayon in them to dissuade wrinkling. Packthem in hanging garment bags or plastic dry cleaning bags and hit the road.Create A Weekend Getaway Tub. After a long work week, the last thing you want is towaste precious weekend time packing! lf you travel often on weekends, fill a plastic tubwith your favorite casual basics and toiletries. BHCHP provides medical services to Boston's homeless atvarious clinics, shelters and hospitals. July I through August B, 200Bwe will help BHCHP by collecting new, white cotton socks, in all sizes,at all of our 16 locations_. BHCHP will also be collecting socks July1 1th and 'l2th at Fenway Park as part of its Sox for Socks drive.Last year BHCHP collected more than 24,6AA socks!
