All Sonicor vapor degreaser are designed with the flexibility to operate safely with a wide range of non-flammable degreasing solvents. Every Sonicor degreaser includes control features and emissions limiting features to ensure operator safety and compliance with applicable regulations.

High Vapor Sensor – disables heaters and advises operator if vapors reach an unsafe height in the degreaser

To introduce Sonicor ultrasonic cleaning power into an existing process tank, or on large tanks where installation of transducers directly onto the process tank is not practical, Sonicor immersible transducers are the answer. Available in multiple mounting configurations, Sonicor immersible transducers make conversion of any tank, into an ultrasonic cleaning tank, simple and cost-effective. The modular concept of the immersible transducers, allows you to start a lower ultrasonic power level, and increase with additional immersible transducers, as production needs change

IMMERSIBLE MOUNTING CONFIGURATIONS:

Sonicor Immersible transducers are offered in a variety of mounting configurations to address both new equipment and retrofits into existing process tanks: IB Bulkhead Mounting fitting(s) with an 8 foot coaxial RF cable/connector assembly protrude from the immersible

and pass directly through the bottom or sidewall of tank, The coaxial connector(s) correspond to the output connector(s) on the ultrasonic generator. All IB series immersible transducers are sold at the prices shown above.

IS IS series immersible transducers are provided complete with a 4 foot stainless steel/teflon hose to route the

transducer RF cable safely above the liquid level of the tank. An 8-foot RF cable with the appropriate generator connector protrudes from the end of the stainless steel/Teflon hose, to complete the connection from the immersible transducer to the ultrasonic generator.

IR IR series immersible transducers are provided with an 18” rigid stainless steel pipe assembly to route the

transducer RF cable safely above the liquid level of the tank. An 8-foot RF cable with the appropriate generator connector is provided to complete the connection from the immersible transducer, to the ultrasonic generator.

FITTING LOCATIONS:

The third letter in each immersible transducer model no. Prefix indicates the type and position of the fitting(s) that

are welded on the immersible body. To complete the model no., select the appropriate prefix from the chart below, and insert it into the immersible transducer model shown above (*):

Sonicor “AW” series, vertical agitation parts cleaning systems utilize a multiple-technology approach to address each critical parts cleaning application. Gross contaminants on external part surfaces and in flow-thru internal surfaces are removed by the aggressive mechanical action of vertical agitation in the heated aqueous detergent solution. Parts with a more complex geometry however, may include blind holes and internal surfaces that can trap contaminants, and are not effectively cleaned by vertical agitation alone. These hard-to-clean areas are penetrated by the optional Sonicor “BandScanner” sweep-frequency ultrasonics, to complete the job All Sonicor agitation washers are constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel to ensure durability and reliability, even in the harshest industrial environment. Available filtration, turbulation, and oil separation systems provide the process control and flexibility needed to ensure parts cleaning consistency as production requirements change.

The Sonicor Ultrasonic Anilox Cleaning System is specifically designed to restore cell volume, without damaging the delicate cell walls on high screen count anilox rolls. The Sonicor system is equally effective on chrome plated cylinders, providing superior cleaning, in less time than any other available roll cleaning technology. The cleaning process is simple. The contaminated cylinder is immersed in the heated solution in the ultrasonic cleaning tank. The high frequency ultrasonic sound waves produce an intense microscopic scrubbing action that penetrates into the cells of the cylinder surface completely removing residual inks, along with any other contaminants. The Sonicor system features the superior performance and reliability of Sonicor “BandScanner” sweep frequency ultrasonics, stainless steel immersion heaters, a circulating pump/filter system, and a heavy duty cylinder rotation system. Critical process time, temperature, and ultrasonic intensity are all carefully controlled to optimize cleaning and ensure process consistency.
