The Council of the City of Plymouth in exercise of their powers under the relevant Sections of the Road Traffic

Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with

the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby intend to make the above named Order:-

To Add/Amend:

No Waiting At Any Time on lengths of the following roads: Barndale Close, Colston Close, Beverston Way, Highclere Gardens, Charnhill Way, Cunningham Road,

Meadow Park, Pattison Drive, Pemros Road, Rolston Close, Dunnet Road, St Johns Road, St Nazaire Close, Underhill Road, Underlane, Furzehatt Road and Whitleigh Green. To Add: Prohibition of Driving on: Colebrook Lane One way traffic on a length of: Somerset Place

The Plymouth City Council as traffic authority proposes to make the Orders referred to above: - The reasoning for these changes is:

Budshead:

Whitleigh Green – to add double yellow lines and Limited waiting by the Four Greens community trust for junction protection and to allow limited waiting parking around the centre, the proposal will also reduce the double yellow lines on two sections which will approx. allow an extra 7 vehicles to park Devonport:

St Nazaire Close – DYLs – junction protection Moorview: Pattinson Drive – DYLs to stop obstruction and junction protection

Plympton St Mary: Colebrook Lane – Prohibition of driving on the Lane part of Colebrook Lane. To stop vehicles driving up this lane as pedestrians use it (there are no pavements) and to stop rat running. Plymstock Dunstone:

Charnhill Way – DYLs for junction protection Plymstock Radford: Underlane – DYLs to protect the junction and to stop vehicles parking on the pavement which is currently causing safety issues for pedestrians

St Johns Road – DYLs for junction protection Meadow Park – DYLs to allow vehicles to drive around the corner safely, without any obstructions Southway:

Beverston Way/Highclere Gardens – DYLs for junction protection Barndale Crescent/Colston Close – DYLs for junction protection Cunningham Road – DYLs to stop vehicles obstructing parking and to allow large vehicles/busses to manoeuvre around the roundabout

Rolston Close/Dunnet Road – DYLs for junction protection Stoke: Underhill Road – DYLs to prevent unsafe parking on the bend of the road which is currently causing a safety issue.

Somerset Place – One Way to allow parking on the narrow part of Somerset Place and to stop vehicles driving onto the pavement when another car is approaching. This is causing a safety issue for pedestrians and is very close to a school. St Budeaux: Pemros Road - To move the bus stop closer to the junction, reducing the length of Double yellow lines and creating more

NO. 2020.2137228 LIVING STREETS 3) ORDER 2020 The Council of the City of Plymouth (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) in exercise of their powers under the relevant Sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and the relevant Sections of the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following Order:

THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS) (AMENDMENT ORDER NO. 2020.2137228 LIVING STREETS 3) ORDER 2020 This shall have the effect of amending “The City of Plymouth (Traffic Regulation and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2004” as follows:

1) That the following be added to Article 34 (Limited Waiting) in the correct numerical sequence

a) Waiting limited to 10 minutes between the hours 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday

b) Where a vehicle has been left in a designated parking place described in Part 96 of the Third Schedule to this Order and that vehicle is subsequently moved that vehicle is not permitted to return to that parking place until a period of 3 hours has elapsed otherwise a penalty charge shall be payable in accordance with PART J to this Order.

2) The following items be added/deleted to the specified Schedules in the correct alphabetical
