OK ! I'm trying to make a how to. Be indulgent English is not my native language.

First of all, if your AX3000G is under guarantee don't do it. So if you decide to do it, be careful i am

not responsible for damages.

The tools.

A pair of hands.

1 Screwdriver (Philips)

1 box spanner 11mm (I'm not sure of translation, then maybe nut dimensions are in inch)

1 table

1 settee or a soft surface like a pillow (this is for don't break knobs and selectors)

1 beer

1 cd

The two last tools can be easily adapt to your preferences. ;-)

Step 1

Open the beer then keep it in another place of you ax3000g. Put the CD and go.

Put all selectors to 0 position (Drive/amp on tube od) It's just for easy reassembly.

Step 2

Turn the beast upside down on a soft surface. Remove 9 screws.

Step 3

We put back AX3000g upside up.

Then with a lot of caution pull knobs and selectors up.

Step 4

Now you can use your box spanner to remove selectors nuts.Have you noticed Drive/Amp selector have no nut, and is not like other ? That because it's a no end

selector.

Step 5

Remove the rear plastics nuts with your hand (no box spanner) and the 2 screws. See below.



Step 6

Remove pedal connector

Step 8

With caution extract card then turn it carefully to disconnect the last connector.

Step 9

Have a drink and up the volume.

Step 10

remove 10 screws on the mother board.

Remove mother board

Wow !! this micro-switch is really micro! I hit foot-switch less hardly now for sure !

The drive / Amp selector

Step 12

Up an Down foot-switches also with a lot of caution don't break the small piece of plastic.

Do not lose the spring it is between the carter and the knob

Like step 12 but inverse.

Do you have all the parts

Step 14

It's time to cleanup all. Plastics and top of the carter with just water, soap, pressed sponge and dry

immediately.

Mother board, connectors card, springs and inside carter with compressed air or like me just a brush

to eliminate dust.

Et voila !



Step 15

Reassembly foot-switches.

First put the spring on the little bump then slide the foot-switch in the large hole and with caution

clip down.

Step 16

Place mother board don't forget to let ribbon cable over pcb.

Put the screws at their places.

A small advice: Never to tighten screws until they are all in place.

For those who one mixed screws.



For the black screw on pcb see image above.

Step 17

connect ribbon cable to connectors card. Do not make a mistake about sense(direction) not make a

mistake about direction.

Step 18

Put card in place. Always without brutality without forced.

Step 19

Put the plastics nuts don't tighten them.

Put the two screws.



Then now you can tighten the nuts with your hand only. (No box spanner)

Step 20

OK You can close the box with the last 9 screws.

Step 21

We put knobs and selectors in place.

For Drive /Amp selector, if you are lost good position don't panic just switch on AX3000G and



when you change Drive/Amp look if the display show the good Drive /Amp.
