What can you do to improve your results?

Your Task Today Image Search - We have already done some brainstorming on Disease and Communities in class so the next step is to play with finding images (if that link did not work, use this one - http://bit.ly/uwsMJ6). 1. Pick one word from the brainstorm you find interesting or different (pick

a random word if you don't want to think about it too much) to search 2. Use one tool found at this Tech Support Page to find a related or relevant

image that describes that word 3. Open PowerPoint and save that image. Make sure you copy the source

(web link) to your image in the notes section of each slide) 4. OPTIONAL - If you have either a Google, Yahoo or Flickr account, log into

Flickr and 'favourite' the image you have found. This is highly recommended.

5. Type the word you were searching and change it to an appropriate font 6. Repeat steps 4 more times so that you (a) have tried each search tool

and (b) have five images that describe 5 different words

If you finish PowerPoint

• If time permits, finish your Disease and Communities image presentation by putting a title slide with your name on it. Eventually we will post these presentations as well.

• If you do the above, speak with Mr. Beeckmans about posting it to SlideShare.
