EYES-SHAPED

Wide-set eyes--this type of eye tends to give the face an open, youthful appearance.

Close-set eyes--This type of eye has a dramatic, sultry look.

Evenly spaced eyes--These are about an eye's distance apart, meaning a third eye would fit comfortable between the two. Now there is an image for you.

Almond shaped eyes--These are the most common eye shape with their upswept lift at the outer corner.

Page 2: Descriptive Words

Small eyes--They are proportionately smaller in comparison to the rest of the facial features.

Prominent eyes--These eyes which set far forward in the face tend to dominate the facial features. The eyelids are too pronounced.

Hooded eyes--These eyes are set so the natural crease in the eyelid is not readily seen.

Deep-set eyes--They seem to recede into the face. The eyelid crease is set back so the area from the base of  lashes to brow bone seems hidden.

Oriental eyes--These eyes have a distinctive lift at the corner and have very little lid.

NOSES-SHAPED

They mention five main types of noses:Concave--A concave or upturned nose is characterized by a curve which depresses in the middle with a protruding tip. The inward arching is normally caused by an overly bulky and bulbous tip, often a problem associated with Caucasian people

Convex--A nose that curves outwards in the centre area and protrudes too far from the face is also referred to as the over-projected or Roman or Aquiline nose.

Wavy--often referred to as the saddle or boxer's nose, and is due to injury or deformity. A wavy nose will typically have a nasal bump or hump, which can also arise from injury, nasal fracture or more commonly a genetic family trait.

Owen Wilson has a wavy  nose.

Straight--characterized by narrow nostrils and a pointed tip. Angela Jolie and Orlando Bloom popped up in the "straight nose" search.

Flat--The nostrils are normally wide and flared with a very short bridge and rounded tip.

Grecian Nose--This is one I have heard and was curious about. This is a picture that came up in google images when I searched for Grecian nose. Looks like it would fall into the "straight" category above.

Button Nose--This is just me, but I don't think adults can or should have button noses. Babies, young children, and maybe some teens can be described as having a "button nose". Cute little noses, not a lot of bridge yet because their nose hasn't grown that much yet. Did you know that your nose is one of the few parts of your body that continues to grow your entire life?

Heart shaped face. Wide forehead tapering to a narrow jaw line.

Oblong or rectangular face. Forehead and jaw line are similar in width. The length of the face is longer than a square face.

Round Face. A symmetrical face. The forehead arcs gently to the cheeks and continues along the jaw line.

Page 10: Descriptive Words

Square face. Similar to the oblong in that the forehead and jaw line are almost equal in width. The difference is a shorter distance between the forehead and jaw.

Oval Face. Similar to a round face with more distance between the forehead and the jaw.
