HK/SZ Design Industry Survey(FHKDA) 2013-2015
ObjectivesThe Design Industry Survey, part of the HK-SZ Initiatives, is a research project that aims to establish and maintain a regional framework measuring the dynamics, competitiveness and favorable social and cultural environments of the design sector in the two cities.
The research will collect data such as company structure, size, turnover, fees structure, project nature and scale, as well as expectations of future development, which aims to provide an objective source of information about the design sector in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, so as to appraise the dynamics, reach and impact of the design sector in the region for us to chart progress towards a united front for design industry development in the PRD.
Ultimately, its findings will help to determine the effectiveness of design as a socio-economic and cultural development enabler, and becomes an objective source of information for design companies and design -service users to know about the design sector and its ecology.
