Introduction
Design & Project Management Group “DMG” is a consultant office specialized in
the electro-mechanical building services, working with architectural offices on variety of
different type of projects since 1992 in Egypt and 2012 in Qatar.
For more than 6 years, DMG - Qatar is specialized in design, workshop drawing,
supervision and value engineering for all electrical & mechanical systems, in addition to
provide BIM services, using the latest advanced technology to insure reliable and stable
systems to its clients.
DMG - Qatar established a Grade "A” MEP Consultancy office in Doha Qatar since
2012 till present, it has more than 44 professional talented engineers. We are ready to
serve our clients with the quality they deserve.
DMG assures proper coordination between building and services through multi-
disciplinary teams working in the divisions: power & low current, air conditioning,
ventilation, firefighting and plumbing.
DMG team works on a variety of projects including infrastructure, commercial,
residential, offices, hotels, and industrial buildings.
We are using CAD/BIM and latest engineering software’s in the design of our
projects. The clients’ needs and budget are taken into consideration and the advance
technology is proposed and developed.

II. Work-shop Drawings:
• DMG has experience and knowledge, we can assure the Best
coordination between different Electro-Mechanical disciplines.
• In the sophisticated systems in buildings, the workshop drawings need
highly technical Engineers to coordinate between different services inside
the buildings as rerouting cable trays and changing duct sizes, it was not
only drawing, we as well revise submittals, and revising the entire design

III. Site Supervision:
• Observation, surveillance and audit of all contractor field MEP
construction, quality management and field supervision operations.
• Recognize developing issues related to unsafe situations, in effective
quality management by contractor personnel and work that is
contractually non-compliant or contrary to approved plans or
procedures.
• Maintains proactive relationship with contractor's quality and supervisory
staffs to facilitate in accordance with procedures the necessary corrective
action by the contractor.
• Reviews Contractor Daily Reports for accuracy and completes Daily
Observation Reports reflecting observations, discussions and/or
significant events.
• Receives direction on a daily basis from the Construction Section Leader
and reports functionally to the Civil Construction Manager.
• Observation of environmental emissions and controls and takes lead on
incident reporting for site / off site activities.
• Maintains frequent contact with contractor's quality control staff and
field supervisory personnel in performing its duties.
• Performs observation, surveillance and audit activities on selected
contractor project field activities including environmental emissions and
controls.
• Monitors progress against approved schedules.
• Monitors project safety programs, assuring contractor adherence to its
approved safety plans as well as contractual requirements
• Provides reporting to field management organization of any deficiencies
in contractor compliance with approved plans and procedures, issues
related to implementation of the work and other pertinent matters.
• Ensure that Health & Safety is first and foremost in all work activities.

IV. Value Engineering:
DMG have the required experience and experts who can work as a creative team
work to apply the value engineering methodology (or Job-plan) through which
the best alternative can be chosen regarding functional balance between quality,
performance, and cost.
This can be applied through project function analysis and examination of its
compliance with the client objectives and the end user too.
V. BIM (Building information modeling) Services
• We provide BIM services for all disciplines (Architecture, Structure, MEP).
• Development of the BIM implementation process and preparing BIM
Execution Plans following the latest BIM Forum Level of Development
Specification for Building Information Models and BS 1192:2007
Collaborative production of architectural, engineering and construction
information code of practice.
• BIM model development from Level of Development LOD 100 up to LOD
500.
• Planning for the optimum workflow for the BIM Process for each
discipline to reduce costs and time.
• Engaged in all technical and BIM activities throughout the project like
modeling, workshop drawings extraction, BIM based analysis and
quantity takeoff schedules.
• Applying BIM Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality new technologies in
the development and presentation of the BIM model.
• Preparing a complete As-built BIM model for the documentation of the
project with a full BIM Manual following the latest Cobie standards.
