    number of permitted banners from 3 to 6 and to

    allow banners to be permanent in lieu of thethree fourteen day periods permitted per

    calendar year, 3) variance from Section

    33.26.H.1.a (frontage up to and including 500

    lineal feet) to increase the monument sign

    maximum area permitted from 32 square feet to

    37.36 square feet, to increase the monument

    sign maximum height permitted from 6 feet to 9

    feet 4 inches, and to allow for a changeable copy

    sign, and 4) variance f rom Section 33.26.H.1.b

    (frontage more than 500 and up to 1,000 lineal

    feet) to allow for a changeable copy sign.

    Porter not voting. With the following conditions: to allow a 37.36 square foot monument

    sign , increase the maximum height from six (6) feet tonine(9) feet four (4) inches and

    allow changable copy. To deny the increased number of banner and permanent

    banners.

    Two primary variances from the Zoning

    Ordinance: 1) variance from Section 33.18.P to

    Applicant: Spring Garden, LLC

    The applicant is presenting building plans for a

    courtesy review. The applicant is proposing a

    47,125 square foot residential building, with thirty-

    six (36) units (approved under RZ09-004 by the

    Mayor and City Council). The proposed building

    will be five (5) stories. With a forty two (42) car

    underground parking garage.

    The Board recommended changing the color of the red brick to something lighter.
