10- to 13- year olds

Students complete a multidisciplinary unit integrating technology, research skills, measurement, problem solving, and persuasive writing.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Publisher

Students pretend that they get to design a brand-new bedroom. They integrate a number of disciplines and skills to develop the layout, track costs, and organize their work. Students then create a persuasive presentation to deliver to their parents.
