SAFSMS Help Center is Live!

Making things easier for our SAFSMS clients is always top priority at FlexiSAF. After several weeks of careful planning & several drafts, the Support Team completed the SAFSMS Help Center.

The SAFSMS Help Center is an online repository of knowledge with simple & clear tutorials that guide clients on how to interact and achieve the everyday tasks needed to fully operate SAFSMS.

The activities on the Help Desk are divided into roles used by SAFSMS users, plus each article contains numbered steps and short instructions to break down complicated steps to their barest minimum.

Last month, FlexiSAF launched SAF-PAY, an online payment gateway that helps manage school fee payments & ensures transparency.

Sticking with the theme of keeping things simple at FlexiSAF, SAF-PAY provides flexible billing configuration, a convenient online payment option for parents, detailed reports for tracking and ensures less cash transactions in the school, making both students and staff feel safer by not having to carry cash with them.

Amongst the new features the site contains are social media buttons for Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin to foster improved communication with the clients.

We will be constantly updating the SAFSMS blog with content such as e-newsletters, company announcements, client case studies & other articles.

It was exciting times at FlexiSAF HQ, Abuja this August as Dr.Sadiq Sani, a Research Fellow at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen came into the office to give a “Brown Bag Talk” on Data Analytics & Deep Learning, two high-focus topics of data science.

From the informal interview we had with him, he summarised deep learning as “ an application of artificial neural network, which is a machine learning technique modelled after the human brain. it has recently regained popularity because of the amount of computing power and training data we easily have at our disposal today.”

FlexiSAF Reseller Partnership with WECO Systems InternationalEarlier last month, FlexiSAF signed a reseller agreement with WECO Systems International.

The Head of the Sales Team at FlexiSAF, Michael Ero & the Regional Manager Lagos, Richard Nwaneri, were present when the agreement was signed by the ED of WECO, Mr. Nnamdi Onyebuchi.

The agreement enables WECO Systems International to resell SAFSMS, the software solution catered to improving process & financial management as well as parental engagement.

FlexiSAF Events 2016

Aso Villa Demo Day (#AVDD2016) FlexiSAF’s CEO, Faiz Bashir, represented the company at the Aso Villa Demo Day, one of the most anticipated tech initiatives of 2016 in Nigeria. The first part of the event was held at The Landmark Event Centre Lagos which opened its doors to hundreds of other innovative startups like FlexiSAF.

During the 1st part of the event, each speaker was awarded a three (3) minute pitch to explain how their tech solution will work to solve & sustain some of Nigeria’s economic & social issues.

In summary, FlexiSAF’s CEO used his three (3) minutes to discuss how SAF School Management Software (SAFSMS) has helped over 300 schools solve various challenges and how FlexiSAF intends to entirely transform education in Nigeria.

KidCoders’ Summer Program,Kano

On the 27th & 28th April, FlexiSAF showcased at the African Resources & Technology Exhibition (ARTE). The exhibition was held at The Sheraton Hotel, Abuja and attracted an array of people including Heads of School, Government Officials & Deans/Vice Chancellors of Universities across Nigeria.

Led by the Head of Sales, Michael Ero, the FlexiSAF Sales team demonstrated best selling products, distributed marketing materials & engaged with potential clients. The team also organized a trivia competition with prizes for the attendees to test their knowledge of FlexiSAF products.

African Resources & Technology Exhibition (ARTE)

As part of FlexiSAF’s CSR, we held another edition of the FlexiSAF’s Kidcoders’ Summer Program. The program which began in late August & ran for two weeks, is designed to teach children & young adults ages 7-16 the basics of computer programming/coding.
