BCCH Frequency

In case of DRX Enabled SPLIT PG CYCLE tells the period bw two paging for same MS.If disabled NFRAMEPG will be considered

NMO1: During packet data transfer MS listens on PPCH for CS related Paging

MS wait equal to this timer after sending packet resource request on PRACH for response from network

After data transfer for a particular TBF has been completed this timer starts and MS release all resources on Expiry

This is the max time MS can ask for Non _DRX mode once coming in Idle mode after Packet trasnfer mode

Parameter CACKTYP:In BR7 we have only this option.

tells the value of timer T3198 at MS side. Expressed in terms of RLC blocks. Some thing related to ACK/NACK procedure

If T3182 is expired the MS decrement N3102 by PAN DEC and request Uplink Resource Again.

this parameter defines the number of increment for counter N3102 performed after receiving packet uplink ACK/NACK

Edge Enabled/Disabled in Cell

PCMCH= BCCH or PDCH. MS will measure downlink RxLev on BCCH to calculate uplink Power Control(Value of C)

SGSN software version

In BR8 we can select NCO3 which means network controlled cell resellection.NCO2 means MS controlled cell selection but measurment report sent on Uplink

Access Burst Type 0 means 8 Bit Access Burst and 1 means 11 Bit Access Burst. If during RACH,PRACH only MS class and Priority has to be sent Access Burst 8 is used

this parameter defines the maximum value for counter N3102. If N3102 exceeds PKTNMA or N3102 reach 0 or less than 0, a RLC abnormal release shall be performed(cell Reselection)

Power control of MS on PCH is calculated by formula Pch= min (GAMMA0 - GAMMAch - ALPHA * (C+48), Pmax)

T_Averaging_Weight: this attribute indicates the signal strength filter period for power control in packet idle mode

T_Averaging_Time: this attribute indicates the signal strength filter period for power control in packet Packet Transfer Mode

No of Averaging Interfernce.the MS shall measure the interference signal strength of all eight channels (slots) on the same carrier as the assigned PDCHs.
