DETROIT AUTO DEALERS ASSOCIATIONCHARITABLE FOUNDATION FUND

ABOUT THE FUND

Since 1999, the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) Charitable Foundation Fund has been an important resource for nonprofit organizations serving children and youth. The fund has provided more than $6.1 million to support 154 organizations throughout southeast Michigan—with more grants made each year.

As a permanently endowed fund at the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, the DADA Charitable Foundation Fund will be here forever, supporting each new generation of kids as they grow and mature.

The Detroit Auto Dealers Association, a trade association representing hundreds of automobile dealerships in metropolitan Detroit, founded the Fund. It is supported by proceeds from the annual North American International Auto Show Charity Preview.

ABOUT THE GRANTS

Grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 are awarded each year to improve the lives of children and youth across a broad range of program areas, including health and human services, the arts, recreation, education and healthy living.

Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in southeast Michigan may apply for a grant. Southeast Michigan is defined as the counties of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw, St. Clair and Livingston.

Nonprofit organizations that receive support directly from the Charity Preview are ineligible. Please note that the Fund does not award grants to host or sponsor events.
