October 2014:Start of one Air France flight per week on biofuels (10% added to standard kerosene) on the Toulouse – Paris-Orly route until September 2015
May 2014: Start of new series of KLM biofuel flights to Aruba and Bonaire.
March 2013: KLM’s first-ever series of biofuel-powered intercontinental flights in partnership with Schiphol Group, Delta Air Lines and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
June 2012:Longest intercontinental Biofuel flight from Amsterdam to Rio de Janeiro operated by KLM.
October 2011: 1st commercial combined energy saving flight operated by Air France.
June 2011:KLM world’s 1st airline to operate a commercial passenger flight from Amsterdam to Paris, using HEFA bio kerosene

The KLM Corporate Biofuel program is now available and will enable companies to operate some of their flights on sustainable biofuel, thereby stimulating the further development of biofuels
