• California Coast could have an earthquake soon because of the St. Andres fault( transform fault boundary.

• Mexico could also be due for an earthquake because of the St. Andres Fault(northwest Mexico).

• India: because it lies on a Convergent boundary line.• Chili: Because there are lots of earthquakes located there.• Japan: Also hit frequently with earthquakes.• All of central America has frequent earthquakes:Panama HondurasNicaraguaCosta RicaSalvador

1. I have learned that earthquakes happen mainly around plate boundaries. I’ve also learned about

predicting earthquakes they happen when plates move and this can also create tsunamis which

are very devastating and can sometimes cause as much damage as the earthquake itself.

Some factors that help earthquake prediction are if there are is an increase in foreshock activity or changes of seismic wave velocities.

I think that most big earthquakes occur is the west coast of South America because on the map with the last year data even for last year there is a big solid clump of earthquakes. but A lot of them are in Chili they are right on a boundary line which causes a lot of earthquakes and not all of them are small.
